Description: as any cryxian weapon this blasphemous monstrocity has no standardization, but they tend to have slender long refled barrels inscribed with magical cryxian runes of a vile wicked appearance made of black iron and blighted gold, normaly mounted on the cryxian slayer helljack chassi.
Its most impressive feature is the black magic weaved on the weapon that make the unfortunate targets of its shots partially shadows, allowing cryxian allies to bypass hard targets such as heavy steam jacks on defensive positions.

Special rules: a target hit by this weapon does not block line of sigh, cannot make free strikes and allied models can move through it if they have enough movement to move completely past it, for one round.
It takes ten minutes to fully reload the shadow rifle outside of combat and it requires no specialized skills.
To mount this weapon it must replace the arm of a heavy warjack, by the nature of the cryxian technology, if those blasphemous objects can be called such, each weapon is made for an specific helljack, not chassi but individual helljack, to mount this weapon to the jack it was designed for it takes four hours of work and a mechanical engineering roll of 14, for another helljack made by the same necrotech the difficulty is 15 and for a helljack of another maker or non cryxian steamjack the difficulty is 16, in case of a failure the test may be undertaken in an hour work.
Replacing the arm cost 60gc if it is for another helljack of the same maker, there is an additional 50 gc tax and for a helljack of other makers or non cryxian steamjack there is an additional 100gc tax, unless it is made by the character itself then it incurs no cost .
Blasting powder, casing and projectiles for the ammo of this weapon cost 15 gc each.
