Painted a merchant house from Tabletop World for my games. I painted interior as well, I will take pics when the rain lets up.

I wholeheartedly agree. 2D terrain is convenient to store and carry, but 3D terrain is far more appealing visually. When combined with painted armies, it really helps to draw in new players.
