I was skimming through WM and WNM lore. What if the Cyriss exodus means the Emps are actually millennias old Convergence and the Exiles are apart of the orginal Cryx? Without the influence of Toruk the evolved into something else, but kept the soul tech which is why the empys think they are dangerous?
