I note that the Lunker fin option offers Overtake (and +1 ARM). The Hammerhead Shark arm has Critical Consume. My one concern is that with Consume, the model is not destroyed before being removed from play, so Consume will not trigger Overtake.

This is not a complaint, but I am hoping that perhaps that can be amended. I do like the idea of smashing through a line of infantry with a hammerhead shark.

Thoughts?

Seems like it’s just a trade off you have to accept if you want to use that combo. Considering that both Consume and Overtake exist on a bunch of models and has worked this way for a couple of editions already I doubt they’ll change those abilities. Which means the only way around it would be to remove one of the abilities from the Deepbourne.
